Defect Details: Products contain Chrysotile (white) asbestos. The asbestos
is bound in a viscous bitumen base.On the basis of information currently
available K & H considers that the products pose no measurable risk in
respect of airborne asbestos fibres to any person when applying the product.
Consumer action: Consumers should telephone 1800 838 148 during business
hours for directions on collecting the products and providing refunds.

In the days when milk came in glass bottles with aluminium foil caps:
boiling them in a stained
teapot was the way to clean it up.
I am sure that the now-long-gone foil caps could be replaced with ordinary
aluminium foil.
