I believe that Peticure sells a dremmal attachment that threads on to the front
of a dremmal for cutting (really sanding)dog 's nails.
I was thinking about getting one but have not so far.

  Thanks Lenny,
It doesn't sound like it is a hell of a lot different than what I am already
doing. It would be kind of cool to have something that would orient the nail
to the sanding drum, maybe I will have to play with that idea.
I think I must have about five Dremmal tools laying around here so it
wouldn't be a big deal to dedicate one.

Yes, I do like it. I usually have Karen help so I don't get into the quick.
It has a hole that you put his nail into then kind of rock the tool to have
it round over the nail. It has about a 50 grit sanding drum. It basically is

a dremmel tool with a plastic cap over the sanding drum. Karen spotted it in

a store on sale for $15 regular $19.

Are you happy with that nail trimmer? I mounted a stop on a pair of
traditional nail clippers that allows me to take about 1/8" at a time
however it is slow going and the dog and I both get bored with the process.
I have also used my Dremmal tool with a sanding roll and that seems to work
  fairly well.

Oh, how I agree. There recently was an infomercial on a pet nail grooming
tool. You can now find it in many stores. A few years ago we purchased an
item and it cost me $65 to return it for shipping and insurance. We vowed
never again to purchase from an infomercial.

If the product is everything the manufacturer claims, it will eventually
make it to the store shelves where we can pat, scratch and caress it and
probably for less than the advertised price.

As a general rule, according to Reader's Digest last month, stay away from
infomercials as over 90% of their products are junk.

  Hello folks,

My wife and I saw an infommercial for the Rockwell Jawhorse. I was wondering
if any of you had heard of this, knew anything about it, or maybe even
have/had owned or knew anyone that owned/used this device. It's some sort of
clamping device and it sounded pretty neat and it seems to average about
$199 US. Not sure if it's worth the money or not, but just based on the
description from the TV advertisement, it sounded like it might serve a
  number of functions.
