Well I originally stated that I would accept comments until this coming Friday, Nov 21. I don't think it is necessary to wait until then. The feedback response has been disappointingly low. Out of over 260 members there was only a hand full of replies. So over 250 members don't care what method we take the decision will be based on the very few returns. Here are a few comments received:*** I find them to be of no interest to me. There hasn't been one for something that I own and most of them are for the types of products that I don't own, such as gas grills. *** I guess I'd tend towards only BHM related recalls, but it'd also depend on how much of an increase in traffic would be created by doing all of them. I'm not fanatical about this choice. *** please keep the recalls only to BHM matters as has been done in the past. Otherwise how far will you have to go with them. *** Personally, I like getting the toy information even though I don't have children at home anymore. I do have lots of friends with kids, and, if I have given a child something that has been recalled, I'd like to be able to warn them. Whatever the group decides of course is fine with me. *** I don't mind a few recall notices but if we are going to get a lot of them, I suggest that a separate list be set up for them. *** In general, it's pretty easy to just delete stuff you're not interested in I think. *** Well that is a sampling of the responses. Since there was only one positive request for all of the recall information we will keep the current procedure of only BHM related recalls in place.
