Dear Lenny:
I suspect that we are talking about the same multimeter. If it is the same
one I have, it has a clear voice and is really handy for a lot of tasks,
including continuity.

                Yours Truly,

                Clifford Wilson

Dear Lenny:
I use the talking vtom meter to check batteries. Since it reads voltage
to thousandths it is easy to figure out which battery has life left. The
meter is cheaper just now than the meter you describe, which apparently only
checks batteries. The talking vtom meter checks for several readings,
including house voltage and resistance.

Yours Truly,

Clifford Wilson

Is there an audible battery tester that a member really likes? I did a
search and found quite a few listings with similar descriptions. From what I
read so far I am leaning towards the one that NFB store has for $30.
