there are also some "used office furnature" companies in some cities. I got two big metal desks from two different ones form less than $200 each. One has electric outlettingbox on it; the other has an "L" addition. They are both as heavy as I can move myself and don't want to do it often. But these companies buy from businesses going out of busines and then they look to recoop. Yeah it might have (hahaha) "jackie loves Becky carved on it; but it's a heavy duty desk for cheap. (though without waranty). Best to you.
