Yes,

We have had a service center look at it; we just had a tuneup recently.

My wife Terrie and I have had an Oreck upright for years. We do not find it
noisy and seems to work well. It came with a maintenance contract where the
local Oreck service center goes through it once a year from top to bottom
and services what ever it needs. Have you had a service center look at it?

Well if anyone finds a really quiet machine that really works, let me
know. I got one of those Dyson machines and that bugger is pretty noisy.
