Dear list Members:
My first wife and I have a lazy Susan which has been in place for 31 years,
and we use it primarily for the storage of plastic containers of all sizes and
shapes, but it serves well. We have had a few items fall off of the turntable,
but the access door will allow even a large person to have access to the unit.
The door is a two part with a hinge in the middle, where the corner is when
closed.
We also have the vinyl covering the entire kitchen floor, which was
installed before cabinets. This arrangement also offers protection for the
sub-floor when a water leak occurs, which will happen in time. The other
reasons given by Dale also apply.
