Dear List members:
For hand sharpening, I enjoy an artificial stone which has diamonds
imbedded. It came with a double foaled out handle, that keeps the device
covered, when not in use.
I also have one which is a small round device, which also has the same type
of handles, and is designed for use with serrated edges.
I also have a powered unit that uses a belt of abrasive , the exact
make-up of which I am not sure. It came out of a knife store, where it was
used there for sharpening knives of customers
I enjoy the hand-held unit the most, as it is highly portable, and when not
in use, slips easily in to a pocket.
