You should be able to use it for about anything but roofing. I don't think the head of a roofing nail will fit inside most barrels. I also think it could be too rough on the shingles. Good afternoon list: I am in the process of getting a palm nailer and wanted to know what people recommended on this list. My question is can i use my palm nailer to do roofing, framing, and putting down sheething for flooring and sheething on the outside walls of outside walls? I am about to start helping to build 2 new houses for my local habitat for humanity chapter. The one i looked at so far was a ridgid palm nailer and it was 80 dollars at home depot. I am getting tired of pounding my hands by accident and most of my friends that are contractors have palm nailers. Let me know if i can use palm nailers to do roofing, sheething, and framing.
