I live is the great snow belt of northwestern Pennsylvania. As for the snow on 
the roof, for some reason the snow melts and we don't get a build up. Can't say 
how much snow is up there, but haven't had to go up on the roof since I had the 
house built in 2003.
And tonight the temps at 1830 hours is 11.8 F, with the temps to drop with more 
snow in the forecast.
For it is a wonderful life in the State of Pennsylvania

  It is a two stage Arien, 30 inch cut with a 11 horse engine. So far we had
  over 15 feet of snow this season.
