Just south of Erie, Pa. Better known as the snow belt region of Northwestern
Pennsylvania. But this year, even the city of Erie may set a record for snow
fall.

That was old news. We now are at 223 inches and I can now say I have
experience in the shoveling snow business. But the neighbors 25 miles south
of us, according to the TV, have us beat, they have over 260 inches this
season so far and 2 more months to go.

It is like sweeping a floor. Go across the area once and step one step to
the side and go the other way. Repeat until the area is clear. If it is a
large area like a pad in front of a garage you may want to go north and
south than make a sweep east and west to make sure you got all the area
  clean.
Received 196 inches of snow this season and it is scoming down like rain
  this morning.

  Hi,

I'm not usually the snow shoveler in our family, but I would like someone to

  describe the technique to me.
We have had so much snow here this winter, and I'm trying to give my better
  half a break!

  Thanks.

  Claudia
