Hi All Our hose reel centre spindle came apart, so this is how I fixed it.
This has 2 hose fittings one on the inside so the hose can be rolled up, the other on the outside so a short piece of hose with snap on fittings fits onto the tap. I found that all that held it place was an o ring. I could not find the exact size required, so I pulled of the old one and placed underneath it a very this o ring the inside diameter of the o ring slot. Then I put over the top of this the old one so it increased the outside diameter. Then I turned the hose reel on its side and with a small piece of wood as protection over the hose fitting bump it in with a hammer. You can buy packets of assorted o rings at your Hardware Store, when I find something like this I always buy a couple of packets for you never know when you will need some. If you have not got any o rings u could use a rubber band wrapped around twice then put back on the old o ring, but if the outside diameter is to great you may not get it together Ray [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
