Matt: Others have given useful views on the impractical of use for the V.I. craftsman.
Their only remains the looking after the cut. Assuming that the cut is superficial, an abrasion or maybe a little more, then the important thing is firstly to stop any bleeding. This can be achieved with Potassium Permanganate, or you could use surgical spirit which would also harden the soft edges to the cuts. Hydrogen peroxide can also be used to kill off any bugs which may be present. In addition to these few things which I have tried over the years, Isopropyl Alcohol also can be useful, and possibly more readily present in a workshop for cleaning purposes. These are from personal experiences, I haven't trawled the web for any others. Generally speaking though, I only use gloves when using wire wool. David -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
