Thanks, unfortunately this one is. The good thing is I have found a  
way to cancel out the noise for the most part, but at the same time it  
would be nice to really figure out what is going on. I'm wondering if  
there is possibly an issue with the cable not being insulated enough.  
These patch cable are just rca cables that terminate in a 1/8-inch  
plug. Of course the mixer is not a very expensive or of the highest  
quality I'm sure either.
