Hi Claudia

I do not think water running on a razor will do any harm, but I always
remove my razor from the shower and dry it off.

Leaving it there all the time could cause it to grow some bacteria even
though it appears clean , changing it when you think it is going blunts the
way to go.

Razor manufacturers make huge amounts of money for they know you will have
to buy replacements constantly for this disposable units.

The action of removing hairs is the thing which causes the cutting edge to
be less effective then when new.

I did a lot of research on your Toshiba Fan Running all the time, that is a
common complaint from many Toshiba users.

It is only going to cool down your Central Processing Unit and what happens
if it is not running it will heat up and suddenly turn its self off.

This also was another complaint from many Toshiba users.

So if it is going ok but with a little noise from that fan unit remember our
hearing is tuned a bit more sharply than our sighted friends, or at least I
am told my hearing is.

For I see using my ears as a directional indicator for many years now.

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Razors?

Hi,

Does water dull razors over time?
I keep a women's' razor in my shower, on a ledge, on the tub liner or
whatever you call that thing.
I have to buy cartridges for the razor, and they need to be changed, after
several uses. Am I letting the cartridges get dull faster, if I leave them
in this area, because they're constantly being hit with water, when we're
using the shower or tub?

Sorry if this message may not be appropriate for this list, but thought some

of you guys with your vast wealth of knowledge might be able to enlighten me

about this!
Thanks.

Claudia
