Damn Lee, 30 pound test line? How big are the catfish in your neck of the
woods? I've never used anything heavier than 15 pound test. That pole I
use strictly when I fish in the Sacramento delta. Then I have 3 other poles
that I use for lake fishing, and bank fishing on the river. When I fish in
the High Sierra's, I use a ultra light pole with 4 pound test line, and 4
pound test line is a little hard to work with. But catching fish with an
ultra light is fun. Every fish feels like a huge one. We go to this place
off highway 108 on the east side of the Sierra's called Levitz. We catch
allot of Rainbow trout's, Brook Trout, and an occasional Brown. It's time
to do some fishing!
