Aloha all, A friend just sent me a link to FamilyHack, it is kind of like our list. This link is about if you drop something down the drain, get a vacuum cleaner, a leg of panty hose or a nylon stocking, cover the nozzle of the vac and apply the running vac to the drain. In the video, he first says that any vacuum will work, but on the site he says it has to be a wet/dry vac. This same process would be good for picking up small things that drop on the floor and we don't want to have to step on them to find them.
