One of my three pumps must be in the mood as today when it is the
lower of all three pumps it is not workng . so later I will go down and
tap or bang on the upright pipe and it will click on. I like that
pump working first as I have piping that will carry that water 20 feet
from the house. actually 21 feet. what we did was plumb 1 1/2 inch pvc
pipe up to along the beams across the wall and then went thru the sill
plate of the basement and lleft a one foot piece of pipe outside and
then glued on a female coupling. that way whoever mows the lawn can
unscrew the extra pipe and put it back after mowing.. and yes it is
raining again. I listen to some of you rebuilding sections of the
basement. Not here. what I need is a big dumpster and several tag or
yard sales. . Time to get rid of more stuff and never again bring
anything down there .Lee
