I have double posted this message to the BHM and WW4B lists because I
believe it is very important. I have found that bearing guided router bits
don't come from the store with the screws that hold the bearing on fully
tightened. I had the bearing come off of two bits from two different bit
sets from different manufacturers a few seconds after starting to route.
When I finally figured out what was going on I checked the third one from
yet a different set and found it was loose. I tightened it before using it.
So don't make the mistake I did. A set will usually come with an Allen
wrench that fits the screws. In the case of one of my sets the bits are in
english units but the Allen screw is a metric size. Check before you use.

Regards.
