Hi did you check how deep the soil is? If it is to shallow,, your plant will
not grow very well even if it is watered, although I am shore that your folk
would haveshoor that it is deep enough. I would think that you should plant
something small, that can cover the soil. In this country we have a lot of

So All,
I think I've decided to try my hand at a little gardening!
Okay, don't laugh at me now!
I'm not a girl that liked to get dirty, but I figure it's time to try doing
something new.
On the side of my house, there is a pretty good-sized concrete ledge, which
is almost waist high!
My in-laws recently planted two plants there, without my consent, but I feel
I owe it to them, to give them a chance to grow! Unfortunately, one of them
has already died, so I uprooted all the dead stuff!
Yes, I do know what is dead plant material and what is alive!
Anyway, I also cleared the debris in this whole little section; there was
dead grass, sticks and leaves there, so I got rid of all of that!
So, here are my very beginner questions! This whole area is covered in
dirt, but there is only one plant currently growing there. Do I water the
whole area? Do I want some grass growing here, or should I continuously
clear it away? My thought is that there should be grass there, so it
doesn't look so forlorn and barren, with my one plant!
So, this is the extent of my gardening ability or inability, but I found it
quite relaxing, so I'm trying to think of what else I might be able to put
there that I can tend to!
What do you do with the waste? It gets recycled in brown paper bags, isn't
that correct?
Are there any sights I can go to, to get good beginning ideas? If I
seriously take this up, , I do not plan to wear gloves, since I won't be
able to feel what I'm doing!
