you need what they call 6.1 speaker support on the sound card. Just about all your newer sound cards support this speaker configuration. There will be controls in the volume panel and also in the software that comes with it. As far as jaws goes. If the card you use now is the main card. Then don't worry about jaws playing on it. But there has ben some reports that you might have to use a jaws key up to get it activated.
