Hi Michael, if there is an adjustment on each coil, it has been my  
experience the knob is very small and not at all what you probably  
would initially think.  It is generally in the middle and the only way  
you realize it is a knob is the fact that at least the models I've  
encountered have a little pointer on the knob.  Of course if you can't  
locate such a knob on either, it might be worth having a set of eyes  
then.
