Subject: [BlindHandyMan] ordering fabrick

Well last fall we were planning on reupholstering  the dining room chairs.
One thing after another caused it to be put off. Yesterday we started the
project. The fabric had to be ordered and was shipped to the store. I knew
that I needed two yards and was going to add a few extra inches. We were
told that we had to order exact yardage. The mistake that we made was not to
have the store open and check the fabric. Well it is about two inches short
and not cut evening. I will still be able to finish the project but Karen
learned a lesson on ordering fabric. And that is to make sure that the store
checks it before you leave.
The worst part of the project so far was ripping off the old fabric. There
must have been two hundred staples in each of the six chairs.
Karen became a little upset with my suggestion and that was to change the
fabric for different seasons. Something for Christmas, then followed by a
winter, spring, patriotic, autumn and back to Christmas. I told her that I
could make it so the fabric was easily removed .
Actually, I am not ever looking forward to replace it again.
