david, Do you mean the oven lights when you don't have it on? How new is this stove, electronic controls or old fashioned knob type?
If it's electroniics, buttons and displays and all that junk, then it's probably in the electronics unit. If it's a good old fashioned knob and thermostat, then it almost has to be the thermostat, or a short in the wiring between the thermostat and the solenoid valve that turns on the gas. Tom Fowle
