Hi Claudia
Many radio/stereos have inputs, sometimes specified for MP3 players, but
sometimes also called "Auxiliary" input etc.
Also many T.V.s have "AV" or auxiliary inputs, two audio and 1 video. These
can also work fine.

The only type of inputs to which you shouldn't connect the MP3 player would
be those for microphones or old fashioned record players.

The connectors can come in two types, modernly, an 1.8Th inch earphone jack
just like the jack for earphones on your MP3 player. Other units may have
two RCA type jacks. Whichever you find radio shack will have the
appropriate cord to join them up.

One tip, after you connect things up, and learn which if any switch settings
to use, try to keep the volume on
the radio slightly higher , and the volume on the MP3 player slightly lower.
since both controls effect what you hear. This will tend to reduce any
distortion in the system.
