I used to use an electric stapler doing speaker fabrics, before I found a 
good way to use hot glue.
Work with it, learn it. Probably good for medium to light woods as the 
harder woods will give you a proud staple with a dent in the middle that 
you'll have to screwdrvier home with a few taps of a hammer.
The benefit is that you don't have to apply great pressure on a big handle 
and have it move from where you want it. Just the tap of a finger.
