Tom just mentioned how to take squaks out of floors. I liked the
sqqueask because I knew when someone was moving about. I have lived in
two old farm houses the first was a rental which in the kitchen the
wide boards had a gap thus when sweeping the floor I needed no dustpan.
in both the house I rented and the one I first bought had beams in the
basement which felt like split logs as they all had the bark still on
