Well with the help of a Verizon tech Karen's Mac laptop is hooked up. I am
getting to dislike this computer table more and more. With the pigeon hole
in which the PC is stored, it is nearly impossible to reach behind it to
access the cables. I had to get the either net cable to temporarily hook up
to the Mac computer. Pulling out the PC to access the cable the speaker cord
for my jaws speaker became unplugged. Another fun time to plug it back in.
Anyway after the tech established a wired connection he shared the
connection. He then said that my modem is very old and probably will not
work wireless with the newer Mac computer. He went on to say that he could
try and upgrade the firmware but sometimes the modem will no longer work and
I would have to purchase a new one. I told him to try it and luckily it was
successful.
I am leaning more and more towards building a new computer table. Maybe big
enough for my HAM radio stuff and a built in refrigerator. Not sure if the
boss would go along with that idea.
