Lenny, we bought a cover, on line, for our weber gas grill and it was the
actual Weber brand. They had a short one and along one, that goes almost
all the way to the ground. It has a panl on both the front and the back,
about 8 inches down from the top that is made of some kind of netting
material. The screen or netting panels are about 2 inches by 10 inches.
We've had that cover for 5 years and before we had a short cover on it for
10 years. The netting panel is obviously for ventilation and I'm sure the
short cover is very self ventilating as well although it doesn't have the
vent panels. It ventts a lot more air flow in and around it because it is
short.

Since I've had my grill for so many years, I would attribute it to the fact
that has always been covered although it has never been kept somewhere out
of the elements. It has been outside 365 days a year for 15years.

I would recommend that you buy one and try to get a Weber brand, since it
will probably have a better fit. I do remember it was very inexpensive and
I also remember we did not buy it from Weber. We bought it from some on
line company that wasn't a weber representative. I'll ask my wife Beth if
she remembers where she bought it.

Hope this helps with your decision.

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] storing gas grill

We have a Webber gas grill on the back porch. I have an after market cover
for it. Although the porch is covered snow still blows in. I was putting the

cover when Karen told me that she was informed that we should not use it.
She was told that moisture will be trapped under the cover causing some
problems. Any thoughts?
