You can pull a small mobile home behind a 1 ton truck. My buddy's parents used
to come up from Florida and they pulled a 28 foot Arrostream behind a half ton
pick up.

I'm not up on all the brands out there now but Google something like 5th wheel
mobile homes and you should get a start.

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Campers or travel trailers question

  Hello there.

I'm wondering where I use to have a trailer when I was younger, my
grandparents still do but wish now that I'm an adult to look for my own and
rent, as it's a seasonal trailer park where retired snowbirds go in the
summer here, and find a trailer. they use to have mobile homes but someone
changed the rules where you can only bring a camper or travel trailer. Was
wondering if I were to get one how big can they get. Can I get a small
version of a moble home that can be pulled behind a 1 tun truck? What I
would like to find is one that has two bedrooms with one queen sized bed,
dresser, and closet space, another room that is empty but we can throw a
single or bunk beds with two dresssers in it, a coutch with a pull out bed,
a dining area in the kitchen, big enough that we can have a table for 8,
have family and friends that like to come out there for Canada day and spend
a few days out there) and big enough that if we are out there from may 1 to
October 5 for weekends and holidays or just go out after work or school as
it's only 20 minutes from where I live, that we can live in it comfortably.
Usually when we're out there we're outside a lot as it's a nice place to go
and we hav bond fires and stuff like that. It's a cheap way of having a
cabin. If anyone knows of a travel trailer that size, might just add to it
if I got one later on like my grandpa did. The ones that they use to have
you could only pull with a semi and people started complaining about it too
much and so they changed the rules. Plus the trailer and the semi were
getting stuck on the bridge that some people had to go over to get to their
spots. Thanks for the tip. Cant wait to get out to a lake. Another option I
have is to go to a lake that is about an hour away from me that is very
clean and there is a little town so you can buy some odds and ends and it's
still close enough to the city that if we wanted to go out there after work
on a Friday and come back on a Sunday night that we could still do that.
  Later.

  Blaine
