I still have the same microwave from 25 years ago. that's right my mom's old microwave I have it and it still works good. hasn't bitten the dust yet. They make microwaves so cheap these days that they break and don't last nearly as long as the old ones do. Yes, we throw way too much away. Here in Saskatchewan, Regina anyway, a recyckling company here has a "Sweep it to sarcan" where you can send old computer equipment, TV's and electronics like that and they will discard it propperly.

It was making some strange sounds then stopped. Now it won't heat. The unit is less than 3 years old. Oh, how I hate our throw-away-society. I called one place and was told that it would cost more to repair it than you can purchase a new one. So microwave hunting we go. --- Please visit my home page; it is motivational, inspirational and humorous with many resources for the blind. http://www.lennymchugh.com Lenny Please Copy and Paste into New Message to pass along.
