When you look for a propane supplier find out if they have automatic delivery and a minimum price. Last year a friend had a major problem with his supplier. There was a 100 gallon tank only for his fireplace. They filled it the previous January. In the fall he received a bill for $95 for 3 gallons of gas. He finally had the tanks removed and never replaced. The company told him that there is a $95 minimum fill up price and would not bend. So check prior to singing any contracts. After a call to the attorney general's office he only had to pay for the fuel. He never signed anything with the company.
