the little straw that comes with the silicone spray might help well in 
getting the spray get to the spots in the workery.
Odly, you can polish the dirt right off of your car with that stuff too.
The grease may not be good for any rubber backing on insulation  as the 
spray *like wd40 can deteriorate rubber under tension *like cane 
bungy.
