Subject: (BlindTech) Major Announcement Regarding The List

Hi everyone,

Because of the problems we have all experienced on the list, we have found
that it is necessary to move the Blind Tech list.

We have received no cooperation from Yahoo Groups to help us catch the
person or persons responsible for all the horrendous spam and
misrepresenting members of the list.

We have no way of blocking IP addresses, thus minimizing these atrocious
messages and misrepresentation of good people.

The move to a new domain is not unprecedented during the history of Blind
Tech. It was done a few years ago by the founder of the list, Jonathan
Mosen. Even if this had never happened before, to stand by and letting
people been victimized by these loser type individuals would be
irresponsible on my part as well as the moderation team.

So, here's the deal. We are taking steps to import the current membership
over to the new list serve. However, if you want to make sure that you are
part of the new list, just send a blank email to
blindtech-subscr...@blindtech-list.info
<mailto:blindtech-subscribe%40blindtech-list.info> and respond to the
message by just
replying, you're good to go.

I hope that you will spread the word to those who have chosen to leave.

This decision is not negotiable and not up for debate. As of February 28,
this list will be deleted from Yahoo Groups. I know what the argument will
be tat no one will be able to find us. This is a bogus reason to stay put
and let people be violated. The word will get around just fine, thank you
very much.

If you happen to post a message on this list while it is still in existence,

we are taking the steps to have cross posting on both lists.

If I sound frustrated and put out by this, well you are right and so are a
lot of people and we will do whatever we can to maintain the good name of
Blind Tech.

My thanks and appreciation goes out to Naama and Mike, our two moderators
and to Geoff Shang for their tireless work to get things set up.

Thanks for your understanding and your patience while this issue is being
sorted out.
