Hi Bob, thanks for the info. I am considering this just to take the chill out of the basement. Generally I dont' mind at all, but there are those days where it does seem a bit cooler than is comfortable while working. Apparently some use these instead of their central heat. Well okay, they turn the heat way down and use these in whatever room they are in. I have read they use about as much electricity as a nightlight and that does seem a little hard to believe. Of course it could all be true.
