that works if your stove has a bottom drawer. some stoves no longer come with one. I say get one of those stoves in the future that the burners are on the counter so that if something falls off your plate it isn't going to go anywhere except on the counter or the floor and then you either vacuum it up or sweep the same way that you normally would sweep.
