Hi All Well I have been under the house crawling around inspecting all the beams for any termites.
I took a six foot stick under there because I did not want to run into any snakes or big spiders. The stick also found the piers and it was better than head butting them which is not the best experience. All was good and I found no termites or where they had been, the wife made me put on a pair of overalls and I was glad I did for in some parts I had to lay on my back to inspect the beams. All the piers have galvanised ant caps on them but you do not know where termites will appear. I take a hammer and knock each beam in many places listening for a hollow sound and inspecting entry points at the ends of beams where they but against the walls. So far so good.
