So far the only real dislike is the sacrificial center square. At Home Depot I thought I could get a small piece of melamine to make some different inserts. They used a 5/16 thick piece. I know that I can make a few but thought they would have used a standard stock material. I want to drill some large holes so my sanding drum will drop into the table. I do have some scrap Baltic birch 1/2 inch plywood. I can cut some 3 15/16 squares then make a rabbet cut to make them fit.
