Aloha Brice, I have a Whirlpool conbo washr/dryer unit. There is a setting for heavy-duty wash which does something similar. I suggest that you try to find out how to set it for a permapress load if you're not sure what it is set on.
Perhaps if you could find out the model of the washer, you could download a manual or you could contact Whirlpool tech support at: whirlpool_customerexperie...@whirlpool.com BTW, when I recently contacted them to get a braille overlay for my new dishwasher, they told me they no longer provide that service.
