I finally found a sheet good carrier, or panel carrier, at Harbor Freight. It was 5 bucks, made of metal, and put together backwards. The handle bends over the channel at the bottom rather than away from it. Luckily, it was just held together with a couple of screws, so I was able to turn the handle around.
I will probably use a piece of one inch tubular webbing looped over my shoulder and hanging down my side so that I can hook the handle of the carrier through it, and thus carry the weight on my shoulder. Tomorrow morning, 12 sheets of 3/4 inch OSB, 42 studs, a few 2X6s and three 4X4s will be arriving at the bottom of my stairs. Should be a busy morning of hauling. -- Blue skies.
