Hey all, We are doing two minor additions to WebGPU that we believe have zero compatibility risk:
- The addition of "rgb10a2uint" <https://gpuweb.github.io/gpuweb/#ref-for-dom-gputextureformat-rgb10a2uint> as a GPUTextureFormat. This format was forgotten by the WebGPU group when making the initial list of GPUTextureFormats. Both WebKit and Firefox were in favor of adding it during the WebGPU meeting <https://github.com/gpuweb/gpuweb/wiki/GPU-Web-2023-07-12#:~:text=Add-,rgb10a2uint,-texture%20format%20%233841> . - The enablement of the "float32-filterable" <https://gpuweb.github.io/gpuweb/#float32-filterable> optional feature. Likewise it was easily agreed to in the WebGPU group, see minutes <https://github.com/gpuweb/gpuweb/wiki/Minutes-2022-11-30#optional-feature-request-filterable-32-bit-float-textures-3601> .
