Hi Clémence, We're still working with the WebView team to nail down the exact timeline, but will update this thread once it is decided.
For context for others, there is a bug in WebView removal where the API is still accessible when WebsiteSettings.SetDatabaseEnabled <https://developer.android.com/reference/android/webkit/WebSettings#setDatabaseEnabled(boolean)> is set to true. While the fix is not hard, we've learned since the initial Intent that the Deprecation Trial, while supported on WebView, cannot be used for all cases of WebView. So we are working with the WebView team to further assess the usage and decide on the timeline of making this change. We will keep this thread updated once this is decided.
