Very nice to see this! It's not part of our process or a requirement, but you might consider sending a PR to update https://github.com/mdn/browser-compat-data/blob/main/api/Serial.json and all places that link to https://crbug.com/40740509, so that this will be reflected on caniuse, MDN, etc., as soon as possible.
