Hi. I'm planning to install debian this week if I get a harddrive for my computer. at the moment I just want to run a server, so I'm thinking about skipping gnome at this time. The thing I'll do right now is setting up internet radio, ftp, http and experiment with sound recording. If I skip x, will my system use alsa instead? I Think it will do, but I want to ask just to be sure. /Kristoffer
