I wanted to respond to this posting, and say that: a) It's good to catalog all the places that buffers can exist in a system
b) Turning on fq_codel (and other things, such as bql...) will be helpful, and c) Here are the incantations for popular OSs (I got stuck on this point...) Any hints/incantations for me? Thanks.
