They supply switched gigabit ethernet to the home over fibre - all brought back 
to a juniper switch.

They are run as a co-operative (a for-profit, but structured in such a way that 
no one member can create a controlling interest by just buying shares)

£30 pcm with no fancy features (i.e no mail etc) - just connectivity.

Read their business plan - its out there on their website - and (I was at a 
meeting with them a few weeks ago, they were presenting their progress along 
with a lot of other stuff going on in UK) they are sticking to it.

Ok, they are relatively small (in number) they have an interesting geography to 
fill (low population density - by UK standards) - but they are delivering well.
