Providing a means to validate that this code is going to work as you want
(perhaps even with a unittest.Testcase) would be helpful.
In ASF repository , well ... not yet , though we might need it when we
focus on improving certain widgets . We are using this in a separate
widgets library we developed for some users , but turns out to be a very
reasonable addition .
A test case will be written as well ... asap .
