In the early days when Carter and Ralph traveled around and played on WCYB,
(I live in Bristol), my Uncle George Osborne was their opening act. Neither
could play with him, because he played and sang exactly like Tex Ritter, but
Carter was his best friend, so he catered to my Uncle.

Being 14, I can't remember my Uncle very much, because he died when I was 9
or 10. Ralph sent his deepest condolences to the funeral.
