I saw Bonnie Lou and Buster at the Benny Simms Tribute concert several years ago in Bristol (Ralph was there as well).  It was the first time I had seen them since their local TV show that aired about 25 years ago.  I had almost forgotten them.  I grew up in Abingdon, VA and I remember watching their show quite a bit.  If I am not mistaken, it was sponsored by Jim Walterâs Homes.  I have heard that Buster has passed, but I cannot confirm that.  I have not heard about Bonnie.  They were a hoot â thatâs for sure!  Sorry I canât help anymore than that.  Take care.  Mr. Widener, you may know my Dad, Charles Sullins â or you may have known my Grandfather, Fred Sullins.  He owned a country store just outside of Abingdon, VA â past Whiteâs Mill â up until about 1975.  Just thought Iâd ask.

Does anyone remember Bonnie Lou and Buster Moore? They were on Farm and Fun Time back in the mid 1950's. I don't remember if they were on with The Stanley Brothers or not. I'd sure like to know what happened to them. Thanks.

Thank you Chuck. I don't remember much about Abingdon. I joined the Marines there in Jan.1954 and had a twenty year career in the military. I've traveled the world. Now I'm in Vermont. I miss Abingdon since I grew up there.
