I am looking forward to October 2nd in Golden Gate Park, S F, with Dr Ralph Stanley.  I don't know where exactly in Golden Gate Park the concert will be, but I will be there.   Dirk Powell, etc were  awesome also playing before Father's Day  at Berkeley's Freight and Salvage.  He was playing and talking about getting the music from fathers and uncles who got it from their grandfathers and uncles.  He was not just playing the music, but living it.
